The Agriforest Ontology (AFO)
The Agriforest Ontology (AFO) is being built by combining the concepts of
the Agriforest Thesaurus
(ca. 6000),
maintained by the Viikki Science Library,
University of Helsinki, with The Finnish General Upper Ontology YSO.
The aim is to give detailed and uniform concept descriptions by
using the basic structure of The Finnish General Upper Ontology YSO.
The Agriforest ontology is created as a part of the FinnONTO project.
